John Hollis Baker Esq.
John H. Baker practices Real Estate and Litigation in Athens and the surrounding area. He has gained experience in Athens since admission to the Georgia Bar in 2002 in the various specialties of litigation including criminal, construction, real estate, personal injury and landlord/tenant law.
John is uniquely qualified as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. John is specially appointed as the prosecutor of misdemeanors in Oglethorpe County in the Probate Court and represents his district in the State Bar as the representative in the Young Lawyer’s Division. John is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and was a founding graduate of the State Bar of Georgia Leadership Academy. John is also a member of the Oconee County Area Chamber of Commerce. John’s wife, Shannon Howell Baker, publishes Athena and Athens Parent Magazine.
